Our family did the bible studin in HOP that focused on the importance knowing of God's word. We had so much fun listening to our kids reminisce about the memory verses they had learned over the years in song with Dn. Charlie in Sunday School. HOP is a great time to focus on God in our home and I am grateful to be a part of it.

Hi! The suffolk county HOP officially got started this past Friday. We are a couple of weeks behind due to my being sick and then the fall festival at church last Friday. It was great to reunite, it had been awhile since we met together. Despite the obstacles (losing the dvd & and forgetting to remind a few people) we were able to fellowship, pray, and completed the question packet in bible study form. I got another copy of the dvd from Eddie this past Sunday and then found the first copy in the zippered pouch in my bible! I have come to expect these little obstacles as par for the course when we commit to leading a HOP. My husband will often get stuck at work, or in traffic and I have to get the house in order, and the children in order as I prepare for the evening. It can be exhausting! I guess I expect that siince we are in God's will by hosting a HOP everthing should work out "easy" and it most often does not. It can be hard but a I believe God will accomplish his purposes in our group, and all the groups. He will teach us to rely on his strength and be faithful. Blessings, and prayers for perserverence to all you fellow intercessor HOPs
